  • Note: if LEFT ARM Option Selected, Universal Plate QR option is not available (only non QR bracket available with Universal Plate for Left Sided Bracket).
  • Note: Canon T2I/T3i body construction did not allow us to design a BBS flash bracket that would allow opening of the battery compartment. In this case a thumb screw would be efficient or a bracket clamp accompanied by a T2i/T3i non-bracket plate.  Please contact us for more details. 
  • Note: Since the battery cap on the D7100 body is extra wide the battery access is limited when the plate is mounted to the camera. If we designed a plate to accommodate the extra wide battery cap the flash bracket would sit too close to the lens. The door on the D7100 can be removed very quickly simply by pulling it out

Boomerang Bracket
Excellent product.... Easy to set up for my camera/flash combo but could use slight mod to route the flash cables to get them out of the way. They were getting pinched at times when going from portrait to landscape modes. I used a couple of Zip cords. Mounting a lightweight batterypak for the flash was a bit awkward. I was pleased with the weight of the unit as the night wore on it was not as tiring to hold as my stroboframes were. Thanks Tom!

Quality stuff
Been looking for a quality flash bracket for many years. I've used RRS portrait and wedding pro flash brackets. Boomerang wins hands down. Much simpler to use and less intrusive. And it is well made.

The weight and size of the frame is excellent, I can't complain about that, it is compact yet sturdy enough that it is no competition among the other 'trusted' brands I saw in my local photo store. However, when looking at the base of this frame.... the part that extends from the vertical arm to the base of the camera, it should have been curved outward. I often have trouble slipping my finger between the supporting lower-base frame and my lens, specially when I zoom out and focus. To add to this limited cramped space, the lower-bar that extends in and out to protect your lens from hitting the floor.... well, its bulky enough that it doesn't allow any way for me to zoom in and out, or focus unless I change my methods and do all the adjustments from above the lens, as opposed to the standards 'under-the-lens.' As a result, I found a way to get rid of this 'extension-bar' and risk my camera tilting over simply to ease the complexity focusing in such a cramped space.

Excellent Product,Quality Engireeing. Very good balance horizontal and vertical. Bolt that anchors spring loaded locking pin to lever missing on delivery.(searched packaging)Being from an engineering,DIY,background I had a suitable nut.I now realise I should have ordered Quick Release Systm (thought it was overpriced).Leaving Plate on camera would mean easier transportation of bracket.Highly recommended.Thanks

All other brackets are garbage in comparison
I have owned Custom Brackets and Stroboframe brackets. This thing is a piece of engineering perfection and art rolled into one. Incredibly easy operation and super solid design all rolled into one. When the flash is vertical or horizontal the bracket locks securely into location with no play. I will never go back to other brands and have already found myself to be a ProMediaGear evangelists. I use two of these brackets on pro Nikon bodies - I do wedding, portrait and event photography with about 30 gigs per year and need the best equipment to work perfectly all the time.

Every so often, over now nearly 40 years as a professional photographer, I've come across a product so good that, when combined with the standard bits of kit from the camera manufacturers, adds to the value and performance of those manufacturers products. Quantum batteries for your Speedlights for example, and the Wimberley head on top of anybody's tripod. And now this- the Boomerang Flash bracket. If you have to use on-camera flash regularly - just go buy one of these brackets. Like all great design, it's beautifully simple, elegant and so easy to use. Not only does it eliminate the problem of the off-side shadow throw (when using on-camera flash) in a portrait/vertical configuration, but because it gives just that much extra distance between the flash light path and the lens axis light path, it also eliminates 85% of the nasty bounce back hotspot when used in the landscape/horizontal position. A great, well made, well designed addition to any photographer's kit bag.

Got 1 of these after seeing it in a magazine and reading online reviews (not on this website). I am extremely impressed with the solid build of the bracket. Others are flimsy and I have no confidence in having them on my camera and the 2 other brands i own are now taking up space in a drawer. Got this for my 7D and have now added the L-bracket for my 5D Mk III.

I thought I had already written a review of the BBS-BPX3 Boomerang Flash Bracket but I'll do this again. Tom look in your files and post both my reviews. It isn't often we photographers come across a product so unique as this one. There are many quality flash brackets on the market and many by better known companies. A bunch of them reside in my camera safe now as they have been retired in favor of the ProMediaGear Boomerang. Recently at an all day event for which I was hired to photograph the meet and greet part of the event not one other hired photographer there didn't come over to me to look at the Boomerang. I saw custom brackets from every well know manufacturer and I have several of them. One photographer even asked me if I would switch with him for awhile so he could try it out. I was too busy to accommodate but I did give him your URL for him to go look for himself. Tom, I'm still waiting for my D7100 custom plate to arrive. You guys get busy and get me my custom plate.

This bracket is very well made and solid and will last you for long time. Bracket is very easy to use and light weight. Great for weeding,party and family portraits shots. I use with Canon 7D and 580EX II flash with Vello 1.5' flash cord. I'm very happy with the purchase.
