ProMediaGear bracket plates are custom fitted. The bracket plates can be mounted to ProMediaGear flash brackets or L-Brackets. Since they are custom designed they fit like a glove perfectly matching the camera shape, they also provide anti-rotation so the plates won't slip or twist. The plates have been machined from solid Aluminum T6061 block and have hard black anodized surface coating for scratch resistant finish. The plates also features 1/4-20 threads for mounting other quick release plates or accessories.

When I first unpacked this plate, I thought I received a different item because the box it came in looked like something one would ship Fine Jewelry in. Well, once I held this Beautifully Machined Plate in my hand, I decided that IT REALLY WAS as beautiful as fine Jewelry but 10X more functional. It went immediately on the bottom of my BG-E7 and has yet to be removed because of those two 1/4 inch threaded holes on the bottom that accept the fitting from my Rapid Yeti Strap. Superb design, machining and finish. A+++++
