C60 Arca-Swiss Compatible Quick Release Clamp with 1/4" Hardened Thread Insert with Bubble Level

Of all the clamp-type heads I have, I quickly started using this one the most. It is the best-made and smoothest operating. The knob is no problem if one places the plates backwards sometimes (but this is true of any clamp). Because I have a lot of Italian-brand tripod heads, which can be a nuisance to remove and replace, I often put the Italian non-Arca plate UNDER the Promediagear clamp and drop it into the Italian head, with complete steadiness.

Fit in my Manfrotto ball heads perfectly, now I can use all my equipment with swiss arca QR's.

Love this clamp. Easy to use and it do what it should be doing. Using it with both my 3-Legged thing L-bracket Ellie and on to the Canon 70-200 f/2.8 tripod collar, and the setup fells totally sequre

Great clamp .... except the knob hits the edge of a couple of my heads and won't seat.... Gitzo Systematic Head GH 5380S and hits the bubble level on the Acharetech leveling head.

Impressive rock solid Arca-Swiss compatible clamp. Retrofitted onto my Manfrotto BHQ2 ball head in order to accept an L Bracket for my EOS 1D Mark IV. Anti Rotation pins were a little overpriced, but absolutely necessary for this conversion. I would've preferred larger grooves in the tension knob, but it'll do. Would recommend to anyone looking to switch from the proprietary Manfrotto RC2 plates and so forth.

I own 2x C60 clamps and they are fantastic; I use them on 2 different Manfrotto tripod heads for my heavy Nikon D850. One head requires using 2x A16 anti-rotation pins. The pins would not fit in any of the 4 holes in 1x C60 clamp; In the other clamp one pin fit in one hole and barely fit in the 2nd hole (2 pins must fit in 2 holes in line to prevent rotation - see video). Because I had 2 clamps it turned out ok for me; if not I would have had to return the items or had to enlarge the holes in the clamp, so I only give 4 stars for that. It’s possible I was 1 in a 1000 for this interference condition; I am sure Promediagear would correct any problems; I do recommend these clamps.

Bought this QR Clamp to make my Manfrotto ball head Arca compatible. Works great, saved some money, and now all my gear is compatible! Very well made and smooth operation!!!

A solid and beautifully made C60 clamp with a smooth closure action. Neatly designed to accept anti-rotation pins so as to be adapted to fit Manfrotto tripod ball heads. Only reason I'm not going with 5 stars is that the ProMedia Gear guys say it is OK to re-use the Manfrotto tapered screw, whereas the C60 has no taper in it's mounting hole. I'm hoping they are right but my engineering head says otherwise... Fingers crossed!

I purchased this, along with the anti-rotation pins. To convert a Manfrotto 054 head with the RC2 clamp to Arca. It makes this switch very straight forward and is a very solid, well made clamp. PMG Customer Support in choosing this could not have been better as well.

The item was exactly as described. Works beautifully and I love it.

I own multiple Manfrotto tripods/heads and decided to switch over to the Arca- Swiss System because at times I experienced play with the Manfrotto RC2 plate / clamp set up. I found the conversion very easy to do. I removed RC2 clamp and used the pin retrofit kit. The only thing I questioned is that after removing the center insert from the C60, the Manfrotto hex screw went further into the center hole than I liked. It tightened down ok, but I believe a spacer or washer would have made for a better connection. I have ordered another C60 that I am going to attach to a RC2 plate to use on my Manfrotto 3 way head. I am very please with the quality relative to price of this item.

Got to be American made. Got to be precise. These clamps fit the bill. Very well-made and reliable.

This is a first rate, high load capacity clamp. I would like to see ProMediaGear also offer it with the 3/8"-16 thread bushing installed.

Well made for price. I thought the 3//8 insert came with it, called but gentleman didn’t know anything about it and said someone would call me back but that never happened so after reviewing the site further you have to order separate, my fault. They really need someone answering the phone that can give some sort of answers. Website can be confusing. Really would like to get an insert for 3/8 but not sure which one cause insert info on site is contradictory.

I have purchased a few of these clamps using them for a few different applications. The file accompanied with this review has the clamp attached to the Promediagear ball head. Works slick!! it is very well made and produced in the USA. I am a happy customer of Promediagear.

I love my Manfrotto tripod, but I am moving over to all Arca-Swiss mounts on my cameras and lenses. The Manfrotto ball stem has a slot, and clamps have matching fingers that keep everything in place (and prevent the screw from working loose). Manfrotto makes an Arca-Swiss clamp, but, while it's great for the intended travel tripod, it is "minimalistic" for me. The PMG clamp, with the optional Manfrotto Anti-Rotation Pins, is the only other solution I've found. The clamp is high quality, and I have no reservations about trusting it to my good cameras! PMG put a lot of thought into the clamp, and it has a number of options to fit various heads - including being able to stack it on any proprietary plate. I chose to retrofit my head with the PMG clamp to keep the bulk down. PMG support has been excellent! I had a few problems, but they were quick to help me out and make me a fully satisfied customer!

This is an excellent replacement Arca-Swiss clamp, it work perfectly without any issue.

This is the 3rd clamp I bought. I have the C40 and 2 C60 that I have on my mini tripod, nodal rail, and monopod. The quality and the hardened thread insert is why I bought 3 clamps......what else can I say. The price is right too.

A finely made piece of machinery. The long knob is especially handy.

Not a lot to say other than it works. Solid build, a few mounting options. Turns out I couldn't use the Manfrotto stop tabs (sold separately). The videos for the different mounting options are great. Recommended.

I am very please with the ProMediaGear grimble.Super smooth! This attachment allows me to use the side quick connect for my camera instead the lower swing arm of the Katana Jr. All the equipment get heavy and I was able to cut out 1/2 lb with this C60 Arca-Swiss Quick Release. And I must say the customer service is outstanding!

This clamp fits right on my monostick works really well. This is made out of good metal not some cheep plastic materials. It has a nice big nob for tight ing the clamp to the plates. Once it is on and tight it hold like it is all one piece. YES I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE.

This screwed onto my monopod with no problems. It firmly holds my Nikkor 70-200 zoom with the PX4 plate. This is the first set of Arca-Swiss products I've used and I'm very pleased with them. This was larger than what I had imagined, but that's a good thing! The screw knob is very easy to operate and tightens and loosens without any difficulty.

This item matches very well with the leveling base. Wish it came with the 3/8 insert as I forgot to order one. Holds rock steady!

The 1/4 " hardened insert is extremely difficult to remove. Other than that clamp is well built and useful since I trust it with some expensive equipment.

The product is very well made. It functioned exactly as I had hoped. It attached to my Manfrotto Compact Action tripod (SN/W0147007) in seconds. I was then able to connect my Canon 80D to the tripod via the Peak Design hand grip that is attached to the tripod port on the 80D. That was exactly what I had hoped to accomplish. Now I don't have to remove the hand grip to attach my camera to the tripod.

Both the PBX3 Universal Bracket Plate and the C60 C60 Arca-Swiss Quick release clamp work great.

I bought two of these to try them out. After using them, I found my camera never moved and that was really nice. My other system moved and that is not good at all. I will stay with these from now on out.

I just bought one of these clamps and was very impressed with the overall solidity, lack of play, smoothness, precision and surface finishing. It works well with arca-style plates from a variety of manufacturers (RRS, Wimberly, Kirk, Markins, Hejnar). The replaceable threaded steel insert is a nice touch, too. Having both 1/4" and 3/8" available makes it more versatile. There is absolutely no play between the insert and the clamp.

Solid well designed clamp, works perfectly with my Kirk and Benro gear! The steel, nickel-chrome plated interchangeable insert makes it unique in the marked.

Quality Clamp. I still can't believe the price and workmanship of this item. Purchased for use as part of a macro kit and I am very impressed. It holds all my camera plates very firmly and the large knurled head is easy to tighten.
