Accessory and Stabilizer Handle for DSLR

Ergonomic handle attaches to the side of your DSLR camera, enhancing comfort and stabilizing shaky footage.

The handle can be used with ProMediaGear flash brackets or bracket plates.

Features:

Aircraft Aluminium construction
Ergonomic Leather grip ensures comfortable and convenient hold
Black anodized for scratch resistant finish.
Mounts to the camera via a custom or universal ProMediaGear PB-type plate
If used with ProMediaGear flash bracket, the handle mounts to the left side of the bracket plate.
Compatible with Cable Port Protector #A10 part

Additional Information:

Please select the appropriate plate for your camera from the drop down menu. If your camera is not listed it means that there is no custom plate available and you will need to select the universal plate.
If you would like to use the handle with other Arca-Swiss type plates (Really Right Stuff, Kirk, Markis etc.) please select the CB60 clamp from the drop down menu.
If you already own a ProMediaGear flash bracket or flash bracket plate please verify there are ports on the left side of the plate to accept the handle. In that case you will need to select "I already own a ProMediaGear bracket plate"

I bought and loved the "Boomerang" flash bracket. I wrote a review for it and then wanted to buy the "Handle" for the plate, which is currently attached to my camera! It is beautiful and the combination is "sweet" to carry and easy to attach or remove for storage. I recommend the handle as part of the whole system. All are artfully crafted and work flawlessly! The handle is a great addition to the bracket plate. It makes handling the equipment much easier. It's well constructed and looks/feels nice. I wouldn't be without it now. It's easy to attach and detach; it's no inconvenience to remove the handle to get at the battery in the grip.

Proud to own

A great addition to my Boomerang flash bracket that I use with my Canon 5DSR, The use of aircraft aluminum combined with great CNC engineering and the use of a black anodized finish make for a product that I am truly proud to own. Oh, And I forgot to mention, That hand stitched leather handle looks and feels great too.

The HB70QR Side Camera Handle is a joy to use. It is light, rugged, well made, and everything locks together positively. The leather cover on the handle makes it both attractive and very comfortable to hold for extended periods of time. The unit is well balanced, both on tiny cameras like Sony mirrorless models, and big DSLRs. It gets the flashgun up and off the lens axis which gives a more flattering light to face shots. I was surprised to get such a quality product for such a reasonable price. Be sure to order the correct baseplate for your camera model. Take time to do this because their website is not too clear on this point. I should also mention that the baseplates are Arco-Swiss industry standard, so work perfectly with my Really Right Stuff clamps. I highly recommend this product.

Wish this was a little longer for the Canon EOS 1 DX Mark 2 as I have to remove it when I change the battery but other than that I like it! Like the idea also that I can now add a remote flash and use the one on the body to hold the microphone. Also works as a good stabilizer.

Great additon to my camera bag

The handle and plate is well-made and helps steady my cameras are hand-held and not on tripods. The plate easily attaches securely to both my PBX3 Universal bracket plate as well as the customized one - PBSVGC2EM bracket plate that fits on my Sony A7II. After trying out the first one I bought, I ordered a second one for use on all of my cameras. Another good piece of equipment to add to your camera bag.

Q: can you use the handle and a boomerang flash bracket?

A: Yes, you can attach handle to left or right side of the camera. Usually with Flash Bracakets or Boomerang Flash bracket the Handle is on the left and Flash Bracket on the right. It can be used with Universal or Custom Camera Plate which is also Arca-Swiss compatible and tripod mountable.

Q: Does the HB70QR handle have a threaded portion on the top of the handle? I would like to be able to mount a speedlite on the handle? Thanks, Scott Murphy

A: Yes the Handle now features a threaded portion on the top of it, so you can screw in other accessories, cols shoes, fixtures etc.

Q: I use a boomerang standard flash bracket on my Nikon D700. How does this attach? Does it attach to the plate I have now or does it come with a separate plate?

A: The Handle could attach to the other side of the Mounting plate you have. As long as the plate has threads on the opposite side to where the flash bracket is installed, it is compatible. So if you already have flash bracket with Bracket plate you don't need to buy mounting plate for handle.

Q: I just purchased your complete L Bracket (PLCBGE8) for my T5i with battery grip. Will this handle work with the bottom plate I have? Since I have a plate, will my cost or the handle be less? If not, will the cost of a new plate will be in addition to the $129? Thanks in advance.

A: Yes it will work with that plate, but it will have to take place of the L-Bracket, as the plate doesn't have ports on right side. When buying the handle you can specify that you already have the plate and currently that is savings of $50 so the cost would be $80 for the handle without plate.
