A: The PX4 balances very well. It depends on what lens, camera combination but the center balancing point on a shorter lens is further back toward the camera body. The PX4 has adjustable stop points to press against the lens foot and adjust this position. You may choose to rotate the plate 180 degrees and mount the release toward the front too. A: The PX4 is a great fit for the 70-200mm lens and comes complete with everything to get you attached in most cases. The lens plate will come complete with (2) 1/4-20 screws (same that fit into the bottom of most cameras). This screw is also the most common screw found on most lens feet. Some lenses use 1 screws, some use 2. If you have the smaller screw on your foot you will be all set with the required gear to attach the lens plate to your camera. In some cases, typically on larger lenses, there is a larger 3/8-16 screw (typically found on most tripods when attaching a ball head or gimbal).
