#PASL3 adapter can be attached to the side of our Bracket Plates, it combines an integrated port for SS2 straps and 1/4-20 thread for attaching third party adapters.
Main uses for it are to create additional port for SS2 strap, or to accept connectors, and fasteners; leaving the plate available for tripod mounting.
Also this PASL3 adapter has oversized loops for straps so that you can setup a hand strap with ease.

Allen Hex Wrench & Screws (everything you need to attach it to the Bracket Plates PB... Models)

I am so happy with this one: I was always getting stuck between putting my spiderpro or l-bracket on and it drove me nuts. I always had my SP plate on my body at all the wrong times and eventually just settled on a separate arca clamp that put the spider pin on the bottom of -- not something I felt was entirely secure. Found this little gem, bought it on a last second whim, mounted it to my PMG plate and I was sold on its functionality. Very secure 2-bolt mounting to the already solid plate, and lots of options for mounting stuff. I have it on a battery grip l-bracket (on the shutter button side) and although I like the extra finger support it offers, some may find the protrusion is a distraction. It works very well on body-only plates too. Came with the usual fantastic PMG customer support and construction and a very simple installation. A must for anyone who uses both arca and SP systems.

I made the switch from another popular L bracket to the Pro Media Gear design. I felt the modular design offered more uses and that proved correct with the addition of the Bracket Adapter for the Spider Holster. It was quick and easy to install and worked flawlessly with my Spider holders.

I am a raving fan of ProMediaGear, it's my first stop for photography accessories. The fit and quality of this adapter is outstanding.

Great product. Well made and securely holds camera/lens. Works perfectly allowing me to keep my sling attached while camera is on my ball head. My only complaint is it's not entirely backwardly compatible with older PMG brackets. Bolt spacing is different on older products so on my D7100 bracket, only one bolt holds adapter to bracket. PMG says one bolt is sufficient but two bolts would make me feel better.

Before I switched to ProMediaGear's arca plates the number of devices that I mounted to my camera was nothing short of a mess. I had a Spider holster plate whit a Peak Design plate attached to it to give me quick tripod access as well as to use their hand straps. They system worked, but it defiantly had its downsides. Two different plates with two different screws systems, and universal plates that didn’t fit well. Like I said it was a mess. The new plates from ProMediaGrear fit extraordinarily well on my z6 and D850, but I wanted to utilize some of the gear that I had already purchased. Enter PASL3 Bracket Plate Adapter. The Plate adapter allowed me to use the pin from my Spider system, and the tether from my Peak Design strap; all without adding extra bulk. It fit well on the D850, but wasn’t quite slim enough to fit the Z6 without covering the battery door. All in all I am pleased with my purchase and its ability to help me bridge three different system into a cohesive piece

Q:
How is the Bracket Plate attached to a Promedia Gear L-Bracket?
Asked by:
Pete

A:
The Bracket attaches to the side ports of our ProMediaGear Plates. The plates have two threads and two guides on each side for mounting accessories. To one side L-Bracket is mounted to other you can mount the Strap Adapter or something else.

Q:
Will this adaptor work with my Really right stuff camera body foot plate for my Nikon D 810. I would like to use this with my Black Rapid so I can quickly connect to my tripod ?
Asked by:
santosh
- 1/30/2015
A:
No this adapter will not work. But you can mount this adapter to CB60 clamp and then use that to clamp onto your Really Right Stuff RRS plates. And then you can use it with Black Rapid Strap.

Q:
Hi I am using the L plate from my Canon 1DX and plan to buy the Spider Camera Holster Think Tank Steroid SpiderPro Holster Kit. I will buy the PASL3 Bracket. Does it come with the pins as well or Do I have to buy the pin from Spider Camera guys ? Does the pin go in the threaded hole ? If you could explain how the fin is fitted it would be great. Thanks. Manny
Asked by:
Manny
- 5/1/2017
A:
The PASL3 doesn't come with Pin or ball. That has to be purchased separately. It offers the female 1/4-20 thread so that an adapter of your choice can be fitted to it so that the plate is still tripod mountable. The PASL3 attaches to the side of our Bracket plates (L-brackets base plates) with two screws (included).

Q:
I have a custom camera plate by really right stuff for the Nikon D4 that holds a strap with a quick detach. Will your Pasl3 adapter fit on my camera plate? Thank you.
Asked by:
Armando
- 11/8/2017
A:
No, The PASL3 is designed to bolt onto our Arca Compatible Universal PBX3 and our Customer Bracket Plates. We do manufacture a clamp, CB60v2 that has the Modular Accessory sides that will accept the PASL3. The CB60v2 is Arca Compatible and will fit the RRS plates as well.

Yes definitely, that’s our plan of making something like this with QD option. I’d say about 2-3 months away.

Q:
What’s the difference between this and the PAH1?
Asked by:
Wayne
- 11/8/2020
A:
The PAH1 is very similar and will do the same thing it just won't have the SS1 adapter. It will only create a 1/4-20 to put anything you want to mount on there
