ProMediaGear
plate is custom made specifically for the
Canon 90D, 80D & 70D Camera Body.
Since the plate is custom designed it fits like a glove perfectly matching the camera shape. It also provides anti-rotation so that the plate doesn't slip or twist. Most of our users leave it on camera at all times and use with their Arca-Swiss type ball heads.

Good fit for Canon 80D
A well-made Arca-style quick-release plate, with an anti-twist flange, that fits my Canon 80D perfectly.

The plate that I ordered for my canon 80D fit my camera perfectly but the threds for the strap loops (which had to be ordered seperatly) were not all drilled through with threds long enough to fit the tiny screws. I was forced to use only one screw per strap loop! Otherwise the plate is well built out of aluminum and fit my camera perfectly. It is black anodised, sturdy and fits my tripod head. Price is hefty though at 40 dollars for the plate and 6 dollars each for the tiny strap loops and screws!

Does it come with one strap loop or two? I need two, right one for hand strap, left to attach Black Rapid strap. Thanks.

Once this is attached to the camera, can I also attach a Sun-Sniper strap to the plate? Also will this fit the Canon 80D?

A:
The Dedicated Custom Bracket Plate for the 70D is designed to fit the 70D only. We manufacture a Universal Bracket Plate, PBX3 that is Universal and will fit multiple cameras with 1/4-20 Threads.
Once attached to a camera you have the ability to attach our accessories such as Boomerang Flash Bracket / HB70 Handle / L-Brackets / Paparazzi Bracket etc...
The Sun-Sniper strap will attach to the bracket plate onto the 1/4-20 accessory holes underneath the plate however an adapter, PASL3, is recommended. It will extend the strap back a bit and give you the 1/4-20 area to attach your straps quick disconnect adapter. The added benefit is that now the strap is away back from the plate and not on the bottom. You will now have the ability to install the camera via its Arca-Type Tripod plate onto your ball head without removing the strap adapter.
