The BG-E11 is a product that delivers on its promise. The bracket fits smoothly and snugly on my 5DIII and feels like an extension to the camera body. There are no sharp edges or sharp angles on the bracket that catch on a strap or other objects. The bracket extends the height of the camera by a few millimeters and adds some bulk to the bottom plate. But I found these changes to be manageable and I adapted to them after one or two shoots. Given the functionality of the Boomerang Bracket that's fastened the BG-E11, I found these changes to be more than worth the trade offs.
