This ProMediaGear plate is custom made specifically for Canon T4i, T3i, T2i with BG-E8 grip/battery pack. Since the plate is custom designed it fits like a glove perfectly matching the camera shape. It also provides anti-rotation so that the plate doesn't slip or twist. Most of our users leave it on camera at all times and use with their Arca-Swiss type ball heads. It also features an optional removable strap loop that can be removed if desired.

T2i Gripped Plate

Looking for a plate that will not shift,this is it. Others I looked at where just flat with rubber on it. This one wraps around the grip. Also a very nice feature are the extra 1/4 20 holes that allow for other accessories to be bolted on. Also the screws use a allen wrench not a screw driver which can slip. This is the one to get.
