Universal L-Bracket L-Plate for Cameras with Articulating Screen DSLR & Mirrorless

Compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Fuji, Pentax, Hasselblad, for camera bodies.

Please be sure to choose either SS2 or QD strap port, as future plates will be released with QD strap port to standardize Strap Connectivity.

L-Brackets or L-Plates allow for fast changes between portrait and landscape orientations, without the need of tripod head readjustment and re-composition. You simply release the bracket from your tripod head, flip it 90 degrees, mounting it back into the tripod head. Compatible with Arca-Swiss type standards from all major manufacturers.

Benefits or mounting on vertical side facilitate a more stable platform than using ball head alone to tilt 90 degrees, as the camera mounts directly over center of tripod apex.

This L-Bracket has been machined from solid Aluminum T6061 block and black anodized for scratch resistant finish. The main feature of this L-Bracket is its two piece design; the vertical piece of the L-Bracket can be extended or removed, this allows for the use of just the base plate if desired. Furthermore, it's offset to allow for easy camera cable connections, and full articulation of LCD screen is permitted.

I purchased this L-Plate, together with a base plate for a Canon EOS R, and a hot shoe adapter. These are the first components I've purchased from PMG, and am impressed with the quality, smoothness of operation, and competitive pricing. The Canon R screen rotates about 160º, which is fine for me, but it does not articulate because the screen interferes with the L-bracket. That's a minor inconvenience, and allowing full articulation would result in a much bulkier unit.

OMD EM1 MK3

This is a well made bracket. Much better than the cheap ones that you can purchase. It allows the screen to fully articulate without any possibility of damage to the screen from the bracket. Only problem is they are not available in the UK. Had to pay import tax on the item making it expensive, but to protect my camera worth it.

a suggestion...

I have not purchased it ..yet, but likely I will soon. However, I would like to suggest that instead of mechanism allowing the main plate to extend, it would like to see the L part slide in and out is similar fashion. - that offset towards the front makes the camera too bulky imo, and places the center of gravity too far ahead. Then it's not like I need the screen to be swiveling all the time. Just an idea :) Look great, and it's a fresh concept
