I wanted 'L' brackets for use on my m43 Panasonic G9 and G85 (G80 in some places) bodies. But could have used some of my myriad Arca-Swiss base plates(See last para). Discussing baseplate components first:- At the time no one was making 'L' brackets for either of these cameras. Really Right Stuff now is developing a bracket for the G9 (?$$$$). Given the 'epic fail' of Panasonic with the tripod mount point in the G85 being towards the extreme front of the base plate of the body I doubt anyone will make a dedicated one for the G85/80! The base plate is usable on the G85 but I had to pad the area between the two red rubber bars so as to stop too much of a forward lean of the body (nothing to do with PMG design really) The anterior red rubber bar could not make contact with the camera base. Suggestion: Several red rubber bars to cope with crazy manufacturer's designs and thin bodies etc. On the G9 with its more conventionally positioned mounting point it works fine however with universal design there is always the potential torsion, displacement & resulting malalignment without dedicated stops for specific bodies. More bars might lessen that further. Very impressed with flexibility of design for additional components. Also battery doors are cleared given flexibility of the two mounting slots in PMG base component (luckily). The 3 inch Universal L-bracket seemed good for my camera without grip. After a very useful talk via online chat, I bought it. The bracket is very solid and with a nice, profesional finish. The vertical part is removable, very useful when shooting tethered handholding the camera, when you don't have to release the bottom screw on the tripod mount. All in all, it is a wonderful product, fitting perfectly in all Arca Swiss clamps. One thing that impressed me: the vertical part has a channel where you can store the hex wrench, something I never saw on other manufacturers. It is held in place by a magnet. The magnet was missing in the original package. I sent an email reporting this and they sent me a magnet the same day. On their expense. From USA to Romania (that is, somewhere in European Union...). Very nice gesture.

I have ProMediaGear L-brackets for my DSLRs, and I wanted one for my mirrorless camera. The smaller Universal L-Brackets, which will fit many cameras, fits my Mirrorless perfectly, with the vertical part pushed all the way into the bottom plate. On the Canon EOS-M it could not fit better if it were custom designed.

At last, a L-Plate for the Nikon D5200! The 3" Universal fits the D5200 like a glove. To be able to adjust the position of the vertical part is a plus when using cables. Welll put together. Marc

Nikon 5300, perfect bracket, love that the side piece is removable. It is so much more expensive than the regular solid ones, but so much more convenient. I am able to flip my LCD I to any position I want without removing, I can access my battery without removing it.

I also have the Arca Swiss Universal Adapter, it is beautiful, but this is as good and so much lighter - and as I take camera/tripod/adapter etc backpacking I really value this; a great, good value product. Pete

Good quality solid materials and nice look. Yes I have been using this L - Bracket and I am pleased to have it as most 3rd party manufacturers don't produce these for Pentax (K3). It does fit but not the best fit i.e. the vertical plate rests on the rubber mic cap (a bit longer would have been useful). However, this is not so much of a problem as I can extend the steel rods a little and re-tighten them (which hold the plate securely) to accommodate this and this works fine. I like the rubber strips which can add a bit of vibration dampening. How long these last is another matter i.e. rubber will deteriorate with time and sunlight. The #8 Soc-Head Screw mounts on either side of the base plate have only one hole on each plate that is unusable, therefore you can only secure the plates with one screw at a time. However, the mount does work fine and securely enough with just one #8 Soc-Head Screw. The ability to extend the steel rods to accommodate theses problems is a nice touch and quite useful and the bracket is sturdy enough for use despite the problems and I am pleased to be using it.

I use this bracket on my 6D and 7D MK2 and it works great on both!!! No more movement when setting up vertical shots! Very well made!!!

This universal L-bracket is excellent. I use it on a Nikon D810 and it would suit most similar cameras. It gives excellent access to the side camera ports when extended out from the camera.

This universal L-bracket fits the Fuji GFX 50R well, but the base plate does block the battery door.

I was in the market for a universal bracket but was concerned about fit on my various Nikons: D600, D500, D850. I have a dedicated RRS for my D810 that only marginally works (doesn't grip tight) on my D500 and does not work on the D850. To my surprise this universal L-plate works on all my cameras, even my D5 (though the vertical section is not long enough to center the mount under the sensor). The modular construction with the extendable vertical plate is remarkably strong and well designed. I purchased it as a gift and now I will be getting another one for myself.

I got this plate so I could use it on my two different DSLR bodies and not have to buy a dedicated one for each camera. My initial concern was that it might not be as solid as the one-piece, dedicated L-bracket. However, this Universal L-Bracket is, as I said, ROCK SOLID! I'm able to quickly switch from landscaped to portrait orientation and this bracket holds my Nikon D750 with 14-24 zoom like it's nothing. I'm totally satisfied with this product, along with my ProMediaGear TR344L tripod! Thanks, PMG!

The time was exactly as described and works beautifully. Having the adjustable side makes it easy to get to the cable ports on the left side of the Nikon camera body. If the left side wasn't adjustable it would not work with the Nikon body.

Purchased the L-Bracket with vertical plate for my Leica M10-P, M10-Monochrome & MP (film) cameras. Fits Perfectly on the cameras. Since the vertical plate is adjustable, sufficient space could be left for the strap lug and strap. The bracket is compatible with the Really Right Stuff (RRS) BH-40 Ball Headwith with the Quick Lever Release clamp. The only Negative for me is that the bracket is NOT compatible with the RRS QD Strap Swivel Loop or otherwise but could be used with the RRS Micro Clamp B2-FABN-Micro. The delivery to ON Canada took approx. 2-3 days. Very satisfied.

Great accessory to my camera system, highly customizable and I don't ever have to worry about the plate sliding or failing.

I use an Arca-Swiss Monoball p0 Ball Head. The Monoball p0 head cannot work as well as designed and the first one failed because I regularly use one of my lenses that does not have a rotating tripod collar on volume photography shoots. The PLX3x L-Bracket has completely solved this problem and I am able to use it with a tether block. It is well made and was well worth my investment. I wish I had discovered the PLX3x L-Bracket sooner!

I have attached the L bracket PLX3x and PBCR plate to my Canon R. The quality is superb, and the installation was straightforward. Very pleased.

I own a Leica SL2 and it work on my camera. My only beef is the vertical part hits the strap post on the camera. I modified it and it works and fits snug like it should.
