Just got this monopod today and can't get enough of it! In one word...SOLID!! And light! Thought I would just use it to shoot my granddaughter in volleyball and grandson in soccer, but after watching the video (Which I'm having a hard time finding again!}, I realize I can use this in many other shooting scenarios! And, like all PMG products, it's just really cool to just look at!!

I don't write reviews unless I am blown away. I am blown away. This thing is solid beyond my expectations and works exactly as expected. I'm 6'1" and this thing is WAY taller than I will ever need, but a bit of extra length is awesome when shooting above my head. The integrated Arca-Swiss clamp makes it simple to attach the Wimberley MH-100 MonoGimbal. This combination is far and away the best monopod I've ever used. It is so solid that I will probably default to this instead of a tripod with a gimbal for my long lens work.

wow great mono pod will work great with your biggest lens no problem, plenty of height adjustment from xsmall to xtra tall workmanship is outstanding like all there products it will last for years, well sealed and the spike on the bottom is nice touch. and like always the people who work there are great keep up the great work

The TR42ML is the best monopod you can buy, bar none. Chunky thick carbon fibre to make it stable but light, with a built in Arca Swiss clamp, the adjustment collars are machined aluminium and, for once, allow the sections to quickly drop down with the smallest of turns before the same twist back clamps them solidly. Beautifully made and finished, it is a tribute to the quality of ProMediaGear's products. No, I am not paid by PMG to use and endorse their gear - I just need and recognise the best equipment for the job and this is it where monopods are concerned.
