8" plate was exactly as shown. good quality with quality parts - even the allen wrenches are high quality. I was suspicious given the price but won't have any doubts next time. Using mine with other parts as a nodal slide on an Arca Swiss cube head.

Q: It may be a silly question but if i choose the 3/8 screw set option, is the 1/4 20 screw set still included? One other question: I didn't see a bundle with the back to back QR plates, is there one? Thanks, Michael

A: Yes if you chose the 3/8 screw both 3/8 and 1/4 will be included. Back to Back Clamps can be purchased separately model number: CD60

Q: What do a C60 bundle consist of, I have a PX8 and want to use it as a nodal slide ?

A: The C60 bundle includes a special 3/8 inch screw to mount C60 clamp to the PX8 plate, it also includes anti-rotation pins so that clamp will stay true on plate.

If you already have the plate you can purchase C60 clamp separately and there are options for those screws on C60 options as well.

Q: I have a 200-500 Tamron telephoto. Currently have 4" plate but wonder if the 8" plate would provide more stability for sharper images. What are your thougts?

A: The Length of the plate for the lens such as your Tamron Auto Focus 200-500mm f/5.0-6.3 Di LD SP FEC (IF) Lens for Nikon or Canon Digital SLR Cameras, would not make a big difference. The main function of longer plate is to balance the lens on a gimbal properly. The Tamron lens isn’t too heavy or long so we feel that 6 inch plate is probably perfect for it. The long 8 inch plate could get in a way, but a 6 inch plate should offer a great mounting options, along with being less obtrusive.
