PBNMBD15 Nikon D7100, D7200 MB-15 Bracket Plate

Over the years I've used many different types of flash brackets. When I first learned about the Boomerang Flash Bracket by Pro Media Gear I just had to give it a try. One great product was this Boomerang Flash Bracket however, with one flaw. There was no dedicated camera bracket to attach to the Boomerang for the Nikon D7100 which is my main event camera. While working with this camera, the Boomerang Flash Bracket and the universal camera plate supplied by Pro Media Gear the camera would slip away from the flash bracket causing me to miss a number of photos in order to realign the bracket and camera. I waited several months to obtain the dedicated MB-15 camera bracket for D7100. Now no more slippage and no more aligning the camera and bracket when shooting events. The MB-15 camera bracket for the D7100 with grip is perfect. Solidly built, I know this item will last a long time.

I like the way this mount fits on the bottom of the camera's Battery pack on the bottom of the camera. It fits so close that you may not even know it is even on the bottom. It has little molded lips that fit the battery pack so it doesn't turn when it is tighten up on the bottom of the battery back. It is not a cheep hunk of plastic it is a very nice piece of metal. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to mount and unmount a camera to a mono pod or a tripod fairly quickly. It works great for me with all 3 piece I don't have to unhook my camera strap just mount to monopod and shoot.

My recently purchased D7100 was bought to allow use with my Boomerang flash bracket which was bought initially for my D500. The plate is beautifully and well built. Highly recommended, Jim
