PMG makes the best products. Their craftsmanship is the highest quality that you rarely see. I have 3 of these brackets and they are so well made that all the other brackets I've used in the past are headed to the trash.

This l bracket is very well made and fits the Nikon 850 like a gloove. Cheaper than others but a much better quality.

Easy to use, top quality, nothing more

As a landscape and architecture photographer, the bracket stays permanently in my camera even when moments I don't use a tripod, because it can also serve as a protection, and aesthetically, it looks so good paired with my Nikon D850. My D850 L-bracket works really well. Nice design. I especially like the ability to side mount my flash/mic with an additional shoe.

I have the D850, love the camera, bought the cam ranger 2, love that as well. I couldn't use any of my L brackets and shoot portrait until i found this. Great little slider allows me to plug the tether in and easily rotate the camera during the shoot. Well made, solid piece.

Being able to easily switch from horizontal to vertical orientation is a snap. Also, when using Boomerang flash bracket, without having to change the base plate is a huge time saver. Very well designed for my D850, like the magnetic wrench holder. Never seem to have one handy when needed

Very well made item. Nicely fits on my D850. I have some comments though. One of the safety stop on the bottom plate came with the head damaged, means the allen wrench was not able to turn it open. Not a big problem. I managed to open it somehow. The big two screws on the L-Segment, I did not understand what it is for. I accidentally opened it and had to spend a lot of time to get it back properly. I strongly suggest that you avoid those screws in the future. The screws on the bottom segment is enough for all the adjustments needed and by avoiding the screws on the L-segment, you can save some weight. Also try to make the screws and the allen key black, so that it remains unnoticed. The idea of including the 1/4-20 threads on the L-part was excellent. I suggest you add one thread on the bottom too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I rank it very highly with Kirk and our RRS.

This is the most versatile L=Plate I have ever used. It doesn't matter whether I'm using it on a tripod, on a black rapid camera strap with the snap in adaptor or with my Spider Monkey harness - it can't be faulted.
