EOS-R Battery Grip BG-E22.
The bracket plate can be mounted to ProMediaGear flash brackets or L-Brackets.
Since it is

1/4-20 threads for mounting other quick release plates or accessories.

Good, but limited
This base plate does fit the EOS R battery grip nicely. But, to this date there still is no L-bracket adapter, which is a bit disappointing, and it is not compatible with at least the PMG video cage. Wish they would have mentioned that somewhere. Not sure what other parts it is or isn't compatible with. If all you need is the base plate with nothing else attached to it, then it does fit well and is solid.

The plate is well manufactured and performs the function that it was designed for. I initially purchased the only the base but subsequently purchased the compatible L bracket. A great compliment to the EOS R battery grip. You will not be disappointment.

I am using this plate on my new Canon EOS R5, which fits perfectly, but is there an option for a QD rather than the SS socket? I use the Magpul QD sling for all my gear and I would like to be able to continue using it with this plate but I need to have a QD socket.
Right now, we don't have kits to upgrade the PBCBGE22 plate to have QD option. Right now, we only have few plates with QD option (like the PBNMBN10 plate for Nikon Z6 and Z7) but we’re actually making the change. We will make the add on adapters soon but it’s gonna take a long time for all the plates and brackets we have to have QD option.
