The thumb screw is compatible with our ProMediaGear Bracket Plates and many traditional Plates.
It is designed for those who do not want to use a standard 1/4-20 screw.
The thumb screw allows for a flexible removal of the plate from the camera without the use of any tools.

Weight: .85 ounces / 24 g

Note: The thumb screw is not compatible with a tripod as it typically sticks out of the bottom and would interfere with your tripod locking mechanism.

Perfect Addition

This screw is a perfect additon to my new Boomerang Bracket I received a few months ago. Worried to loose furnished wrench? Don't be it isn't going no were, securely helt in place with magnet. I bought this as a pre-causion, I mostly use it as a fast way to remove at times.

easy to grip, easy to use

This thumb screw is easy to use because it is easy to grip. I nice little addition to the flash bracket.

I had a problem with this item, but it was my own fault. It never registered with me that it could not be used when using a tripod. In all other respects it is a well made product and does its job very well.
